Azhar Grand Imam, Pope Tawadros pay homage to 4 figures for their outstanding contributions to homeland

The Egyptian Family House, under Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmed el Tayyeb and Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, held a ceremony to pay homage to four Egyptian figures, who made outstanding patriotic contributions to the homeland.

 

 

The four personalities are late Pope Shenouda III, ex-coordinator general of the Egyptian Family House Mahmoud Azab, former Awqaf minister Mahmoud Zaqzouq and ex-president of Al Azhar University Osama el Abd.

The Egyptian Family House was established with an aim of preserving the national fabric in Egypt, safeguarding the Egyptian personality and identity, and restoring the supreme Islamic and Christian values.
