Labor Minister, Sejaan Azzi, received on Thursday Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon, Michelle Cameron, with talks between the pair reportedly touching the Minister's executive project on the return of Syrian refugees to their homeland within a two-year time schedule.
The meeting has also been an opportunity to discuss the different aspects and dimension of the refugee crisis at the humanitarian, social, national, security and demographic levels in Lebanon.
"Canada had previously forwarded a project to host 15 thousand Syrian refugees on Lebanese soil. They have been selected and transported to Canada," the Ambassador said as expressing full understanding of Lebanon's affliction in this regard.
