The Central Bank of Egypt said that Thursday, October 6, will be a day off for all banks operating in Egypt on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the Sixth of October War victory.
In a press release on Monday, the CBE added that banks will resume work on Sunday, October 9.
The Egyptian Exchange will also take Thursday off on the occasion of Armed Forces Day. The bourse will resume activities on Sunday.
