United Nations, SANA-China has renewed its demand to respect Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and not to interfere in its internal affairs.
“Syria is a sovereign state and any military operation on its territory without the consent of the Syrian government, whatever the pretext, is a violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity “, China’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Geng Shuang, said during a session of the Security Council on Syria yesterday, as reported by Xinhua,
referring in this context to the Turkish aggressions and repeated Israeli attacks on Syrian territory.
The Chinese diplomat called for an end to the illegitimate presence of foreign forces in Syria and to lift the unfair unilateral coercive measures imposed on the country.
