Telecommunication Minister, Mohammed Choucair, on Wednesday welcomed the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Lebanon, Abdel Aal Al-Qenaei, who congratulated him on his new position.
The visit was a chance to dwell on means of enhancing the bilateral relations.
Minister Choucair hailed the pioneering role played by the State of Kuwait at the Arab level, and highly valued the Kuwaiti initiative at the recent Arab Economic Summit in Beirut, which aims to establish a $ 200 million fund for investment in technology.
Ambassador Al-Qenaei wished Choucair success in his new mission, underlining Kuwait's permanent stand by Lebanon and its keenness on its stability and economic recovery.
On the other hand, Choucair met with Algerian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ahmed Bouziane, who congratulated him on his new post and wished him success in his mission.
Ambassador Bouziane hailed the Lebanese-Algerian relations as "historic and strong," underlining Algeria's permanent stand by Lebanon.
