Cyprus’ new Finance Minister met on Tuesday with the members of the national Economy and Competitiveness Council, who presented to him the Long-Term Strategy Plan for the Sustainable Growth of the country’s economy.

A statement by the Finance Ministry said that, Minister, Makis Keravnos, had a meeting with the members of the national Economy and Competitiveness Council.

At the meeting, it is noted, the Long-Term Strategy Plan for the Sustainable Growth of Cyprus’ Economy was presented to the Minister while views were exchanged on its main objective, which is shaping an integrated growth framework that will be the guide for the implementation of a new economic model for Cyprus, ensuring long-term sustainable growth for the economy.

The Minister of Finance assured the President of the Council, Takis Clerides, of his undivided and continuous support for the work of the Council for the implementation of the objectives of the Long-Term Strategy Plan, the statement concludes.
