Dubai: The Dubai International Motor Show 2013 will be the largest in the event’s history, with more than 600 cars on display and 108 global and regional launches.
In a press release on Tuesday, the Dubai Motor Show said the 2013 exhibition space is 15 per cent bigger to accommodate the large amount of vehicles on display. The leading automotive event to be hosted from November 5–9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre will take place within the newly formed Dubai Motor Festival.
Visitors can expect a lot more from this year’s show with 15 concept cars from the world’s leading motoring manufacturers on display.
The UAE is one of the leading car markets in the region, the press release said, with half-year sales to June up 18.7 per cent. Forecasts put year-end sales to reach almost 23 per cent. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries have one of the highest ratios of cars to households in the world, according to the press release.
Bentley, Brabus, Bugatti, Rolls-Royce and other car brands will be displaying new models for the first time at this year’s Dubai Motor Show.
Regional premiers are expected from Jaguar and Ferrari, among others.
