Minister of Education and Technical Education Tareq Shawqy and Minister of Environment Yasmine Fouad discussed ways of cooperation between the two ministries to take part in the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP27) to the UN Framework Climate Change Convention (UNFCCC), slated in November in the Egyptian Red Sea resort city of Sharm El Sheikh.
The conference is offering an opportunity for probing Egypt’s pioneering experiment in merging modern environmental notions in educational curricula.
The two ministers were holding an expanded meeting to probe a number of joint issues including preparations for Egypt’s hosting of COP27.
