Egypt, Belgium probe means to boost bilateral cooperation

International Cooperation Minister Rania Al Mashat had a meeting with the Belgian minister of development and climate to discuss means on strengthening cooperation between Egypt and Belgium.

The meeting was held on Thursday on the sidelines of the activities of the United Nations climate change conference (COP27), currently hosted by the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh.

They also touched on initiatives launched by Egypt at COP27 to back efforts on climate action.

Al Mashat also reviewed Egypt’s Country Platform for the Nexus of Food, Water, and Energy (NWFE) program and its important roles on climate-linked issues.
