Egypt pays attention upgrading energy strategy 2035: IDSC

The Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) assertedWednesday that Egypt pays attention to developing and upgrading its energy strategy 2035 to be up to the developments of the era.


The center said that Egypt pays attention to the projects of green hydrogen, wind energy and solar energy.


This came in a video published by the center under the rubric “Egypt and future of energy in Africa” depicting the most important things that came in the reports of the International Energy Agency (IEA) that showed that the African countries are keen on finding green solutions via seeking growth especially in relation to the sources of energy needed for creating sustainable growth that meets the aspirations of the peoples.


Egypt plays a pivotal role in the African economy, the center said, adding that Egypt and Nigeria possess one third of the local outcome of the continent.

Egypt has taken several steps to support the projects which guarantee that the resources of renewable energy reached 42% of the total electric energy produced in 2030, the center added.


Egypt will be a producer of nuclear energy by 2030, it said.
