The Egyptian Navy on Saturday 27/08/2022 engaged in a passing exercise with the US and Spanish naval forces in the Mediterranean Sea.
Egypt’s El Fateh-class corvette, American destroyer USS Forrest Sherman, and Spanish Frigate ESPS Almirante Juan de Borbón took part in the drills.
The drills come as part of the Egyptian navy’s joint training programs with global peers to enhance the combat capabilities of its personnel, enable them to fend off joint challenges and ensure maritime security and stability in the region.
