“Russia Today” quoted Israeli media as saying that a number of settlers were wounded in the city of Hawara, south of Nablus, in a shooting attack carried out by a “Palestinian gunman.” According to Israeli newspapers, “the gunman opened fire from a close range at a vehicle of settler passengers in the town of Hawara and withdrew from the place on foot, and a chase is currently underway.” Israeli newspapers also confirmed that the perpetrator avoided shooting children who were in the back seat of the car at the time of the operation. Other media indicated that “20 bullets were fired at the vehicle.”
