Minister of Environment, Fadi Jreissati, on Monday received the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Lebanon, Abdelaal Al-Qenai, with whom he discussed bilateral relations and the potential support of Kuwait to the environment sector in Lebanon, especially that this country is one of the largest contributors to the Cedre project.
The diplomat said his country "will always stand by Lebanon, its stability and security."
He said Kuwait never banned the Kuwaitis' from traveling to Lebanon, but issued warnings thereon.
Minister Jreissati chaired a meeting of North Metn MPs and discussed with them solutions to avoid a new solid waste crisis in the region.
