European stock markets rebounded from the previous day’s losses to close with gains Thursday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 5.19 points, or 1.19%, to finish at 441.64.

The UK’s FTSE 100 increased 65 points, or 0.89%, to end the session at 7,410.

Germany’s DAX 30 added 231 points, or 1.57%, to close at 14,967. France’s CAC 40, meanwhile, rose 140 points, or 2.03%, to finish at 7,025.

Italy’s FTSE MIB jumped 352 points, or 1.38%, to 25,918. Spain’s IBEX 35 added 131 points, or 1.5%, to 8,890.
