Temperatures on Sunday are expected to be around the seasonal average. Therefore, it will be moderate in most parts of the Kingdom, and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily forecast.
Clouds at various altitudes are also forecast to form, with a chance for light showers of rain in the southern and southeastern areas. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to active at times, causing dust in the Badia, the JMD added.
No significant change on the weather is forecast for Monday and Tuesday, the Meteorologists noted.
Today, the highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom will range between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius. In the late afternoon and evening hours, cooler weather is forecast as mercury levels slide to 16C or even 12C in the southern highlands.
In the port city of Aqaba, daytime temperatures will stand at 39 degrees, while lows will slide to 23C at night.
