Lattakia, SANA-Administrative units in the governorates of Lattakia and Tartous received 25 agricultural tractors and, in addition to a financial grant valued at SYP 625 million to invest them in the appropriate way for each village.
125 villages and farms distributed over 25 administrative units benefit from these tractors, which were purchased under a financial grant approved by the State after the fires, in order to secure agricultural tractors that provide public services while the rest of the villages benefited from development projects.
Local Administration Minister Hussein Makhlouf said, during his meeting with Governors of Lattakia, Amer Hilal and Tartous Abdel Halim Khalil, that in implementation of the financial grant approved by the state for the villages affected by the fires and under the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, these tractors were provided to be as development projects, in addition to providing services to the people of villages affected by fires in more than one field, according to their needs and the nature of the region.
