First lady, C. African counterpart discuss efforts to empower women

Entissar El Sisi, wife of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, met Saturday with Brigitte Touadera, the First Lady of Central African Republic.

 

The meeting mulled the two countries’ efforts to support and empower women, El Sisi tweeted.

 

Egypt has made a great achievement in empowering women in society and improving their conditions at all levels, she added.

 

Women are at the center of Egyptian initiatives that establish the principle of social justice, including Decent Life, Takaful and Karama, Nour Hayah and other initiatives that Egypt launch to make its way to the new republic, the first lady said.

 

The Egyptian women are currently living their golden era, she concluded.
