Fitch Ratings expect increase in non-hydroelectric renewable energy sources in Egypt

Fitch Ratings’ report expected there will be an increase in non-hydroelectric renewable energy sources in the short term in Egypt by 19.7% in 2022 to reach 4.5 GW.

That came in a press release published by the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center to follow up on different international reports on the Egyptian affair.

The Fitch report said it is expected that non-hydroelectric renewable energy sources will scale up in Egypt by 14.7% to 5.2 GW in 2023.
