FM confers with EU Commissioner on development policy towards Egypt

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry conferred on Monday in Brussels with European Union Commissioner for International Partneships Jutta Urpilainen.

 

The two sides discussed means of boosting joint cooperation and the EU policy of development towards Egypt, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez on twitter.

 

Hafez termed the partnership between Egypt and EU as longstanding.

 

The Egyptian top diplomat is currently on a visit to Brussels where he will deliver a message from President Abdel El Sisi to European Union Council President Charles Michel.
