Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry convened on Wednesday with a number of his assistants and senior officials at the ministry’s new HQ in the New Administrative Capital.
The meeting falls within the framework of preparations for gradual shift to the new premises.
He reviewed how far the new HQ is ready for receiving the ministry’s employees, especially with regard to establishing a comprehensive IT infrastructure in line with the state’s digital transformation vision.
He directed to continue honing skills of the ministry’s cadres through intensive training programs as the state seeks to build digital capabilities of its workers.
The talks also tackled means of developing diplomatic and administrative mechanisms at the ministry.
At the end of the meeting, the minister congratulated ambassadors that will join Egypt’s missions abroad, stressing confidence that they will efficiently accomplish their missions.
He called for continued efforts to serve Egyptian interests abroad and promote for the unprecedented development which Egypt is witnessing in all walks of life.
