Egypt attaches importance to stabilizing the situation in Libya, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said at a meeting of Libya’s neighboring countries.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Shoukry underlined the role that Libya’s neighboring countries could play to help reach a comprehensive settlement that preserves Libya’s sovereignty away from any foreign interference.
