Gamea: State easing procedures for provision of lands for investment projects

Minister of Trade and Industry Nivine Gamea said the Egyptian State is acting to provide land plots required to carry out industrial projects with very simple and easy procedures.

Gamea said the provision of lands was the largest challenge facing the implementation of such projects.

She was speaking at a press conference Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli held on the repercussions of the global economic crisis and the government’s plan to address the mounting challenges on Sunday.

Such lands are offered to investors with usufruct or installment payment systems to implement different ventures, according to her.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi had decided to establish a committee in charge of allocating industrial lands, which is regularly convening to back investors in the industrial sector, added Gamea.
