The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Budaiwi, Saturday condemned the attack and vandalism of the Jordanian ambassador’s residence in Khartoum, Sudan. Budaiwi urged the conflicting parties in Sudan to abide by international agreements and treaties on respecting the “sanctity” of diplomatic missions. According to the Saudi Press Agency, Budaiwi reiterated the call for the two parties to the conflict to implement what was agreed upon during the Jeddah talks to realise a comprehensive political declaration that would achieve security, stability and prosperity for Sudan and its people.
