Riyadh– The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, met today with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sergey Kozlov.
During the meeting, the GCC Secretary General expressed the GCC’s eagerness to strengthen the strategic dialogue between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Russian Federation in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed in November 2011. Discussions on a range of issues pertaining to GCC-Russian ties were held during the meeting, in addition to reviewing potential areas of cooperation between the two sides.
In addition, the officials reviewed the latest regional and international developments, as well as topics of mutual concern.
