Lebanese Forces (LF) leader, Samir Geagea, received on Tuesday in Maarab French far-right presidential candidate, Marine Le Pen, accompanied by French MP Gilbert Collard, and other figures.
In the wake of the meeting, Le Pen said that talks focused on the geopolitical situation in Lebanon and the region as well as their opinions regarding Lebanese and French interests.
Geagea, for his part, told the French presidential candidate that Bachar Assad "is one of the biggest terrorists in Syria and the region."
He added that the relation between Lebanon and France was historic and remained a good one.
LF leader, separately, met with British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hugo Shorter, over the general situation in Lebanon and the region.
