Manama, The Director-General of Traffic, Brigadier Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa affirmed today that all organisational steps had been taken to ensure traffic flow from and to the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) during the Bahrain Grand Prix (Formula 1), which will be held in March.

He said that the arrangements were part of the Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa’s directives to ensure the event’s success. He said there would be heavy traffic deployments throughout the three days of the race.

Besides the traffic deployments in fixed and moving points, a traffic control room has been equipped to monitor traffic flow on roads leading to the BIC. During the event’s last day, there will be road diversions that will be announced in the media and on social media.
