Aleppo, SANA- The governmental meeting held Thursday with the executive bodies in Aleppo ,chaired by Prime Minister, Hussein Arnous, focused on the executive measures and steps required for the revival of the souks and neighborhoods of the Old City of Aleppo in light of the decree No(13) issued Thursday by President Bashar al-Assad.
“Aleppo city is given full attention and a great care from President Bashar al-Assad, along with a continuous follow- up by the government and the Syrian Trust for Development; the attention that was crowned with issuing decree no.13 aiming at restoring life to the old city souks and neighborhoods,” Premier Arnous asserted, referring to the importance of developing a strategic vision and networking the state and community efforts to restore the shine to the city.
During the meeting, the government stressed it will spare no efforts to bring the heart of the city back to life ,and underlined the importance of the participation of chambers of commerce, industry and tourism ,along with all the community events to achieve this target according to established schedules.
