Dubai: They are going to spend Valentine’s Day together promoting their film, but tabloid! can reveal that there are some things that Bollywood stars Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor don’t exactly love about each other.
“Hate is a strong word. But I don’t like it when Ranveer’s hair looks nicer than mine,” said Chopra, who plays a cabaret dancer in their film, Gunday.
The stars were in Dubai on Wednesday for its world premiere at Meydan Imax. As if on cue, Singh — who is perennially high on life — sweeps his hands mockingly across his slick hair.
“For the record, he takes longer than me to dress up. At least 1 hour, 45 minutes. I have clocked it,” said Chopra breaking into a laugh.
“I also don’t like it when Arjun goes to the gym and works out hearing my songs, but has a better body. I have been training for such a body for Mary Kom for six months,” said Chopra, referring to the upcoming biopic in which she plays an Olympic-winning boxer.
The boisterous boys were less critical.
“I find Arjun very conservative when it comes to fashion. He should loosen up,” said Singh, who is riding high after his blockbuster Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. No sooner had he said it, Kapoor plucks at his orange and purple t-shirt and claims that he wore the psychedelic shirt underneath his staid grey suit to appeal to Singh’s flamboyant fashion sense.
“I think Ranveer is intelligent but undermines himself by making an a** of himself because he feels it’s fun,” said Kapoor. The three have been grabbing headlines for their crackling camaraderie. Their buffoonery was on full display at a press conference before the premiere. From breaking into songs to teasing the local media, the boys were uncontrollable.
“We are high on life, at all times,” said Singh. The stars and Gunday director Ali Abbas Zafar had a busy evening filled with a mall visit and red carpet roll call. Read the review in tabloid! on Friday.
