Damascus, - State Minister for National Reconciliation Affairs Ali Haidar stressed that the final goal of the underway local reconciliation in Qudsaiya and al-Hameh in Damascus countryside is the return of the state
institutions to the area.
In an interview with the Syrian TV channel aired Wednesday, Haidar added that the Syrian army operations facilitate the reconciliation process and participate in guaranteeing security to those who want the state and its institutions.
He pointed out that the reconciliation process became in its final stages as the final details will be completed soon.
About 600 gunmen will leave al-Hameh and Qudsaiya according to the agreement while the rest will have their situations settled, according to the Minister.
He called on all the citizens to return to their houses after the accomplishment of the reconciliation and going out of the gunmen who started to hand over their weapons.
For his part, Aleppo Mufti Mahmoud Akkam said, in a phone call with the Syrian TV, that the reconciliation
process is still underway in Aleppo neighborhoods where the gunmen are positioning , pointing out that some mercenaries seek to sabotage those reconciliation, mainly in the eastern neighborhoods.
