National Education and Higher Learning Minister, Marwan Hamadeh, received on Friday French Ambassador to Lebanon, Emmanuel Bonne, chairing a delegation.
Talks focused on Lebanese-French educational and academic cooperation, as well as France's contributions to strengthen this field and to form trainers.
The pair discussed the contributions to support the Ministry of Education's plan for refugees.
Minister Hamadeh also met with German Ambassador to Lebanon, Martin Huth, over reinforcing educational and university cooperation.
Hamadeh said that Germany was one of the biggest supporters to the refugee educational project, led by the ministry with the help of the international community and donors.
He thanked Germany for its generous approach to the Syrian crisis in welcoming the largest number of refugees in Europe, evoking Germany's role in reaching a solution to Wadi Barada this morning.
