The Health Ministry announced on Monday that 125 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 22 other cases recovered, while four cases passed away.
In a statement, the Ministry added that the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 27,779 till now, of which 22,451 have passed away, while 2007 have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first death was reported on the 29th of the same month.
