Health Ministry: 30 new coronavirus cases recorded, 5 patients recover, 4 pass away

Damascus, Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 30 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria, and 5 patients recovered, while 4 others passed away.

In a statement, Health Ministry added that the total number of infections recorded in the country has reached up to 24,559 until now, of which 21,614 have recovered, and 1,778 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was registered on the 29th of the same month.
