The Ministry of Health and Population announced that it will launch 50 medical convoys to areas, which are deprived of health services starting from today, said spokesman for the ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.
The convoys, to last until January 10, will conduct free medical examinations and treatment, he added.
The convoys that will tour all governorates are part of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s initiative “Decent Life,” he said.
The convoys include specialists in obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, dental medicine, internal medicine, dermatology and cardiovascular diseases along with providing family planning and radiology services, he pointed out.
