Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, appealed Sunday, to the Lebanese government, to "coordinate with the Syrian government, to facilitate the voluntary return of the displaced, to the safe areas inside Syria," adding that, "the time has come for us to have the courage to begin a solution."
"A security solution alone is not enough, for it also necessitates a political and social solution as well," he added.
Qassem pointed to statistics showing that, Syria has ensured the safe return of 500,000 displaced people, thus far, adding that, this return can only be coordinated between the Lebanese and Syrian governments.
His words came, during a memorial ceremony organised by Hezbollah, in the town of Kfarsir, South of Lebanon.
Referring to the Lebanese army's recent preemptive operation against terrorists, in the outskirts of Arsal, Qassem saluted the army and security forces, for their "heroic achievement that has proven their worthiness and capability, of purifying our land of Takfiris and those who violate the security of Lebanon
