Initial budget appropriations for 2022 approved

Higher Council for Economic and Social Planning approved on Tuesday the initial appropriations for the draft state budget of 2022 with SYP/13325/ billion in comparison to SYP /8500/ billion in 2021.

 

 

 

The initial amount of social subsidies set in the budget items reached at SYP /5529/ billion in comparison to /3500/ billion in 2021.

 

Prime Minister, Hussein Arnous who chaired the meeting, called for doubling the efforts  to allocate the appropriations for production, particularly in agriculture, industry, tourism, petroleum and electricity sectors.

 

He also instructed to improve services, reduce the power loss, increase the cultivated areas with modern irrigation tools, reform more agricultural lands with marketing the Syrian products abroad.
