Baghdad, Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdollahian said that his Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Hussein, carried a message from the United States that it is ready to complete the nuclear agreement and reach a conclusion on it.
Abdollahian confirmed, during an interview with the Iranian “Al-Alam” channel, that his country always welcomes the diplomatic track and dialogue, and said: “We are ready through the framework of the talks that took place in Vienna and the messages exchanged between us and the American side through mediators and in an oral manner.”
He pointed out that the messages they received emphasized “taking into account the interests of each party in the talks, and of course Iran’s red lines regarding the outcome of the agreement, and the return of each of the relevant parties to their obligations through the joint action plan agreement on Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.”
The Iranian foreign minister indicated, “If the American side dealt realistically within the framework of the message it sent through Baghdad and not repeat the hypocritical media statements.”
He continued, “We will not have a long distance to reach the nuclear agreement.”
He added, “We were and still welcome the diplomatic track and dialogue, and we have not strayed from the talks.”
