Damascus, Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals, Manhal Aziz al-Khabbaz and Minister of Industry Ziad Sabbagh visited on Thursday a number of industrial facilities in Adra industrial city and inspected the progress achieved by the Syrian industry despite the terrorist war waged against the country and the unilateral coercive measures imposed on it.
Visiting the Anti- Cancer Drug Industry Company, the Iraqi Minister said that this company possesses modern technology, adding “the presence of such laboratories in Syria is a reason for Syrians to be proud despite these circumstances.”
The visit included a number of medicine factories, nutritional and home appliances companies.
He hoped cooperation between Syrian and Iraqi companies would increase to cover other fields and benefit from the advanced Syrian industrial experience.
