Irrigation minister in talks over optimizing water resources

Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel Ati discussed on Sunday with the Permanent Committee for Regulating the River Nile Revenue measures to optimize water resources during maximum needs period.

 

During the meeting, the committee also reviewed River Nile’s revenues, as well as the mechanisms of water management and distribution.

 

The minister reviewed canal cleansing efforts in various governorates to ensure the efficiency of sanitation networks, highlighting the importance of securing water needs for the agricultural season during the summer.
