The border area between Lebanon and Israel in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon is witnessing great tension following the Israeli army’s attempt to breach the Blue Line that separates the two countries. A Lebanese security source told the Jordan News Agency Petra correspondent in Beirut that UNIFIL officers on board a helicopter inspected the area starting from the Houla, Al-Adaysah, Al-Ghajar, Sedana Hills, all the way to Birkat Al-Naqqar and areas adjacent to Shebaa.
