Dubai: A Formula One driver who gets a major thrill through speed, QNET Marussia team’s British rookie Max Chilton also loves taking the chance to pursue other sports.
“It’s mostly running, swimming and cycling to keep fit. But I like the idea of spending time on the golf course,” Chilton told media here on Wednesday.
His teammate Jules Bianchi follows a similar fitness regime.
But in the past couple of days after last weekend’s Indian Grand Prix, the French driver has been able to spend time karting. And before Thursday’s two practice sessions at the Yas Marina circuit, Bianchi has already set aside time to play squash with a friend at the Crowne Plaza Hotel near the racetrack.
“I’ve really enjoyed myself with the karting, and I am really looking forward to the squash as well,” Bianchi said.
