Lattakia, SANA � The 15-year-old Jawa Zeidan started swimming at an early age and won her first title when she was 10 years old at the governorate swimming championship for junior girls.
In a statement to SANA, Zeidan noted that she was lucky to grow up in a sporty family which gives her an impetus to further enhance her skills and improve her performance.
Zeidan ranked third at the competitions of the 2nd National Junior Olympics held in Damascus in 2015 and 2017. She achieved a great success as she took the first place along the Syrian national swimming team in her first external participation in the International Triathlon championship held in Lebanon.
