Amman: The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) on Monday sent a new plane of relief aid to earthquake victims in Turkiye, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army.
“The plane is laden with 11 tons of foodstuffs, medical supplies, and blankets, to be delivered to Hatay Province and distributed to those affected by the earthquake,” the JHCO said in a statement.
JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Shibli noted that the organization has been working, since the beginning of the crisis, to collect in-kind donations from various private and governmental institutions, in addition to individuals, in order to cover the basic needs of the afflicted areas.
