Jordanian government official spokesperson, State Minister for Media Affairs Joumana Ghunaimat, said that the Jaber Naseeb border crossing between Jordan and Syria would re-open on Monday, according to a statement by the Jordanian News Agency "Petra".
Ghunaimat pointed out that the Jordanian-Syrian technical committees have agreed on the final measures necessary to re-open the border crossing between both countries during the meeting held Sunday at Jaber Border Center. Discussions led to agreement on opening the crossing as of Monday.
"The Jaber Naseeb border crossing between the two brotherly countries is a vital artery for trade between Jordan and Syria, and through them to many countries," deemed Ghunaimat.
