Member of Parliament, Mohammad Kabbara, said on Monday that the Turkish people have said their word against the tanks of the coup stagers, deploring Iran's attempts at placing the Turkish and Syrian Presidents in the same category.
"There's a huge difference between Erdogan [Turkish president] whose people have chased away the tanks of the coup stagers, and Assad [Syrian president] who still dispatches his tanks to chase Syrian people away from their homeland," the lawmaker said in a statement.
"Legitimacy, all sorts of legitimacy, comes from the people. The Turkish people have said their word just like the great people of Syria have said theirs with their flesh against Assad's tanks, warplanes, and explosive barrels," Kabbara added.
"Assad is an illegitimate president. He is only legitimate within the virulent Iranian standards," he added.
