"Amal Movement and the Resistance are ready to confront any Israeli enemy aggression against Lebanon," said MP Ali Khreiss on Saturday.
However, Khreiss ruled out a likely large-scale enemy military operation despite the repeated Israeli threats and the continuous air, sea and land violations, especially the recent attack on Syria in which Israeli rockets were launched from Lebanon constituting a flagrant breach.
Speaking to popular delegations who visited his Tyre office today, Khreiss explained that "Netanyahu escapes his scandals and corruption through resorting to the tunnels' issue against Lebanon."
Over the stalemate situation on the internal scene, Khreiss said, "We heard from House Speaker Nabih Berri last Wednesday that we are below zero in terms of economy, and conditions in general, in the absence of a government." Hence, he stressed that the government must see the light the soonest possible for the welfare of all citizens.
He asserted that the upcoming government would help to ensure minimum stability and get matters back on track in the country, so that things can somewhat move towards a better tomorrow.
