The actress, who is associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party, said there is no substitute to hard work
Actress Kirron Kher, who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2009, praised her party for giving opportunities to women and said India deserves capable ministers.
“Male or female candidates, both have to work hard. You can’t force people on the country if they are not skilled.”
“BJP has several women who are capable. Most spokespersons of BJP are women,” Kher said at “Vote Lo Suraksha Do”, a session held at the political conclave Panchayat Aaj Tak in New Delhi.
Some of the prominent women leaders and spokespersons of the BJP include Sushma Swaraj, Smriti Irani, Nirmala Sitaraman and Meenakshi Lekhi.
