KUWAIT DISTRIBUTES FOOD TO SYRIAN REFUGEES

BEIRUT, Lebanon- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS), said, it had distributed food aid to a number of displaced Syrian families, in northern Lebanon, in cooperation with the Lebanese Red Cross (LRC).

Food packages and cleaning materials were handed to around 250 Syrian families, at Rihaniya camp in Akkar district, northern Lebanon, Abdullah Al-Zaid, head of KRCS's mission to Lebanon, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), adding that, one food package is sufficient enough to a family of five members, for a whole month.

Al-Zaid expressed his hope that the aid will help in alleviating the suffering of refugees, reiterating KRCS' commitment to aid Syrian refugees in Lebanon and all countries, where Syrian refugees have taken refuge, KUNA reported.
