Kuwait embassies in Sudan, Mauritania, Senegal and Mongolia have celebrated the country’s 62nd National Day and 32nd Liberation Day.

In Khartoum, Ambassador Dr. Fahad Al-Thafeiry hosted a reception that gathered Sudanese Acting Minister of Education Mahmoud Siral-Khatim Al-Houri, and dozens of political, economic, cultural, academic and media celebrities.

He reaffirmed Kuwait’s readiness to help Sudan overcome the current difficulties of the transitional stage and reach a political settlement through dialogue.

Dr. Al-Thafeiry noted that Kuwait and Sudan put forward a joint proposal to the Arab League Summit, recently hosted by Algeria, to address the impacts on the Arab region of the global food crisis resulting from the war in Ukraine.

On his part, Acting Minister of Education Al-Houri appreciated Kuwait’s contributions to the economic development in Sudan and its limitless support to the relief efforts during times of hardship.

He expressed best wishes for the State of Kuwait, congratulating the leadership, government and people on the national days.

In Nouakchott, Ambassador to Mauritania Ebra’e Al-Dousary hosted a reception that gathered a high-level government delegation, including Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad Salem Ould Merzoug, and Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors and Finance Ousmane Mamoudou Kane.

The reception gathered heads of diplomatic missions based in Nouakchott as well as leaders of the Mauritanian political parties and representatives of the civil society.

In Dakar, Ambassador to Senegal Adel Abdul-Karim Al-Amir hosted a reception that gathered Senegalese minister of fisheries and maritime economy as well as dozens of political, economic and media celebrities.

Ambassador Al-Amir congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as well as the government and people of Kuwait on the occasion.

Similarly, Kuwait Ambassador to Mongolia Mohammad Faisal Al-Mutairi hosted a celebration that gathered Mongolian Minister of Environment and Tourism Bat-Erdene Bat-ulzii dozens of Mongolian government officials, parliamentarians and public figures.

Also in attendance were as heads of diplomatic missions and representatives of UN agencies based in Ulaanbaatar, according to a statement from Kuwait Embassy.

Ambassador Al-Mutairi congratulated the political leadership, the government and people of Kuwait on the dear national occasion, voicing hope for more progress and prosperity for the dear homeland.
