Lebanon's Internal Security Forces (ISF) Information Branch, on Wednesday, arrested two persons - One Lebanese and one Syrian - in the Beqai town of Suweiri, on charges of smuggling Syrians into Lebanese territories, a communique by ISF Directorate General said.
In the framework of combating the smuggling of foreign persons into Lebanese territories, and after thorough investigations and monitoring, the ISF Information Branch, managed to seize, in the town of Beqa's Suweiri, a white coloured "Hino" pick-up, with 33 Syrian persons aboard, including seven children.
Security forces arrested the vehicle driver, who is a Lebanese national, and his accompanying person - a Syrian.
The detained persons with the seized vehicle were handed over to the concerned authorities for legal procedures
