Civil defense forces were able to control a limited fire that erupted at the entrance to the Local Development Ministry HQ in Dokki district of Giza earlier Sunday.
Local Development Minister Mahmoud Sharaawy followed up efforts to put out the flames.
Three fire engines arrived to the HQ of the Ministry and firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze.
The fire was caused by a short circuit.
